Art
Whether you've already discovered your talent in the fine arts, or just suspect you have a vision yet to fulfill, there is a place for you in the art program at Aurora University. In the art major or minor program, you can develop aesthetic appreciation and artistic sensitivity, and build skills to achieve a unique expression of your vision, through classroom and studio work.
In the art major, you may specialize in drawing, painting, photography, sculpture - and also experiment with other areas as well. You'll also get a solid grounding in art history, and choices in other areas of historical study, such as photography and Native American art.
Study in art may lead directly to a career in fine art, or serve as rich support to other fields or majors, such as museum studies, communication, marketing, history or English. Most importantly, you will develop a lifelong appreciation of art.
