After working for many years with older adults, caregivers and individuals with Alzheimer's disease I find teaching a fulfilling and challenging career. The dedication and enthusiasm of the social work students at Aurora University impresses and revitalizes me as our country faces many challenges today. I also find a willingness and interest among the students in working with older adults which will help meet the needs of our growing older adult population. The undergraduate and graduate students at Aurora University travel diverse paths in arriving here and that creates a richer place for all of us to learn.
