Post-Baccalaureate Secondary Education Certification
This program is offered on the Aurora campus and at George Williams College. Contact the program coordinator at George Williams College for specific information about Wisconsin certification.
Are you in a career but would rather be teaching? Do you have a bachelor's degree in math, biology, English or history?
Aurora University offers a post-baccalaureate secondary education certification program designed for aspiring middle and high school teachers. Individuals with an earned bachelor's degree in any field other than education are potential candidates.
Candidates in this program earn their secondary school teacher certification, and may also earn a middle school endorsement with just two extra courses (three, if you are a math education candidate). Courses primarily are offered in the evening, to cater to busy adult schedules. Plans are underway to offer additional courses for a master's degree after an individual earns certification in this program.
