I am pleased to be a faculty member at Aurora University. I have earned a Ph.D. in organizational development. My dissertation was titled "Enactment of Quality Management Theory Into Practice." Additionally, I am the owner of a small change management consulting business that has a special focus on strategic enactment. Prior to owning my own business, I worked for the Amoco Corporation as a corporate strategist. During that time, I was actively involved in leading several major strategic initiatives. My wife and I live in Naperville, IL. I have three grown children and four grandchildren.

This article is about reducing systemic operational expenses in a chain of convenience stores.
