Drawing from social work principles, empowerment is my goal when working with students at AU. To some students, their time here may seem extensive. But in the broad picture of their lives and career, I feel their time here is limited. I prefer to encourage students to search for and utilize skills and ideas that will help them in their careers for the long term. Empowering students to think critically, to solve problems with fairness and creativity is my focus.
