I joined the Aurora University faculty in 1992, teaching language arts and reading at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.  Teaching is what I do best and my tenure at AU has provided many opportunities for me to grow professionally.  I am a dedicated teacher devoted to careful class preparation guided by an up-to-date professional knowledge base.  Scaffolding learning in a supportive environment while maintaining high academic expectations reflects my personal teaching philosophy.
