Welcome from the Dean
Welcome to the College of Professional Studies at Aurora University. This college houses the following three professional schools: the Dunham School of Business, the School of Nursing and the School of Social Work. We offer a variety of undergraduate degrees in business, nursing, RN to BN completion, social work. Additionally, the College of Professional Studies offers master's degrees in business and social work as well as the graduate social work Type 73 certification.
All of the undergraduate and graduate programs in the college combine an optimal blend of theory and real-world application to prepare students to enter or advance in their professional disciplines. Not only will students learn valuable skills in the classroom, they will also gain the needed professional skills through internships, experiential learning opportunities, service learning and field practicum placements.
All of the faculty in the College of Professional Studies are committed to providing you with the very best experience in your educational pursuits. The faculty are readily available for advising, mentoring, and helping you achieve your highest goals. Our faculty work hard every day to incorporate the AU mission into the curriculum so that you may experience AU as an "inclusive community dedicated to the transformative power of learning."
